Un petit mot à propos de l'auteur...
Capacitive Waves, c'est un projet débuté il y a une dizaine d'années, quand je cherchais mon son, avec une guitare bon marché.
Entre le moment où je l'ai eue, pour mes 14 ans, et maintenant, tout a changé, sauf le bois ! Micros, câblage, design... C'est une guitare "test" avec ma passion dedans.
Depuis cette expérience de customisation, j'ai voulu accompagner les musiciens dans leur recherche du son son parfait. Cela m'a amenée à faire un BTS métiers du son, puis une licence professionnelle. Depuis 2014, je reviens à mon premier coup de coeur : la customisation d'instruments. Puis, grâce à Bernard Faillette, j'ai découvert à quel point les amplis sont importants dans cette quête du son, et c'est devenu une passion de prendre soin de ce matériel.
A little bit about the author...
Capacitive Waves somehow started about ten years ago, when I was trying to find my own sound with a cheap guitar.
Between the moment I got it when I was 14, and now, everything was changed. I put new pickups in, tried new wirings... It is a "testing guitar" with all my drive in it.
Since then, I've wanted to help musicians in their own quest. So I did a 2-year diploma in sound engineering and got a bachelor afterwards. In 2014, I decided to go back where I started: guitar customisation. I met Bernard Faillette, who has been renowned for his skill as an electronics engineer in audio equipment for 40 years. With him I realised how vital amps were in making the guitarist's sound. It's become a passion to take care of these unique bits of sound.
